7 Months!

Jameson is starting to look and act like a little boy!  He sits up completely on his own and is even starting to pull himself up on things, like when he plays in the laundry basket.  He loves his dinosaur riding toy and holds on to the handles just like he's supposed to.  The wee one (as we all call him) just likes to be in motion, then he's happy!  And by motion that means rocking in the rocking chair, driving in the car, riding on toys, skiing behind mommy, and crawling on the floor!  We visited Jameson's new daycare where he will go one day a week while I'm seeing clients in private practice.  He LOVES other kids and babies so I think he's going to have a blast there.  He is also fascinated with Dakota and gives a great big belly laugh whenever he barks.  It's so fun to watch their friendship grow!
Here are a few pictures from our day today!

Our handsome boy, Jameson Scott!

He really wanted to eat the 7 month sticker!

Yum-yum!

Sharing with my best buddy!

carrots, yum!

I really do like my sled!

Loves his ever growing book collection!

All by myself!

After a month of trying to introduce Jameson to solids he finally likes it!  He would clamp his lips tight whenever we tried to feed him with a spoon.  He liked to feed himself little puffs and rice crackers but did not want to eat Mommy's home made baby food.  But a few days ago, that all changed!  Now he's eating sweet potato puree, squash, pears, banana, apple sauce, prunes, and peaches!  He opens his mouth like a champ!  Jameson is officially creeping all over the place.  He can get up on all fours but can't go anywhere yet.  He can move across the floor by dragging his arm and legs, he moves a little faster every day.  Watch out!

1/1/11

We rang in the new year at Sugarloaf.   Ryan did some down hill skiing while Jameson and Mommy ventured out on cross country skis.  Jameson loved looking at the snow and watching the skiers so much that he eventually fell asleep!

At his 6 month appt. Jameson weighed 17 lbs and 12 oz and was in the 55th percentile.  He was 27 inches long and in the 75th percentile!  He had a few more shots and cried but Daddy was able to calm him down and recovered quite quickly.  Jameson is getting more active by the day.  He loves to be on his tummy and has learned to creep forward a little bit to get a toy that's out of reach.  We are going to need to baby proof the house sooner rather than later.  He is one determined little boy!
